How to Use Your Kiln Lab with Phil

Do you have a kiln or are interested in buying one? Or just knowing how it works?  This is the lab for you! Phil will give you a run down on how to program and use your kiln, answer any questions you may have AND explain the new striker and reactive Bullesye glasses.  Come prepared with questions and don’t forget a notepad for taking notes.  You’re sure to learn a lot in this informative lab! Fusing Fun!

This summer has been full of fusing fun! Fusing One was a blast and our talented students created some really cool works! They learned all about the process of fusing, and then got to try their hand at creating pieces of their own! Once they cut and assembled their art, it was fired for several hours in one of the many kilns at McMow.  McMow offers several classes in fusing- for all skill levels! NEW Arrivals at McMow!

McMow has just received the latest shipment of glass and it is full of awesome colors, textures and styles. We are abundant in the coveted pinks and reds, waterglass and lots of fusible opalescents! This glass will go fast - so get to McMow to stock up for the summer!

We have also received the latest colors from Glassline. This is a fusible glass paint that comes in a variety of bright colors and fun metallics. Ask one of our friendly staff how this unique product works. Great for all fusing enthusiasts!

Direct Method Mosaic Class Starts This Staurday March 19th

This 2-part class is the perfect way to have fun with mosaics! In this fabulous hands on class, wou will learn the basics in mosaic application that you canuse in many other future projects.

McMow will supply a choice of designs OR you can free-form your own design and take home the entire completed project - A beautiful and functional mosaic vase, handmade by YOU!

Come and have some fun with us - Saturday March 19th from 9am-3pm (part 1) and Saturday, March 26th from 9am - 12 pm (part 2).

The cost of the class is $95 and includes all materials -glass, glue, glass vase and grout. Students are welcome to bring their own vase or piece to mosaic. Students should bring their own glass cutters or nippers, and wear closed toe shoes.
