McMow Art Glass is our featured merchant in the Limelight. McMow Art Glass offers the best in stained glass windows and beveled art glass as well as beautiful designs in carved, etched and faceted glass. Located in Palm Beach County, Florida since 1976 McMow Art Glass maintains an excellent working relationship with top builders, architects and designers and regularly ships their work throughout the US, Europe, South America and the Caribbean.With our experienced staff of master glass craftsmen and designers, McMow Art Glass is able create a clearly outstanding work of art for any residence, commercial building or place of worship. In addition to our residential and commercial art glass work, McMow is also the leading retailer and school in South Florida. Teaching a wide-range of art glass techniques from stained glass to fusing, McMow places emphasis on bringing the glass arts to the surrounding community.
McMow is co-owned by husband and wife team Shanon and Phil Materio, each of whom are accomplished community leaders. Owner Shanon Materio has sat on both the Lake Worth CRA and the WPB Art is Public Places Committee. Shanon also led the education committee and program on the Art Glass Association of America's Board of Directors. Phil led the Dixie Hwy Corridor improvement committee on the South end Neighborhood Association Board and now sits on the Tropical Ridge Neighborhood Association Board. In addition to his numerous community volunteer hours, Phil is an accomplished glass fusing artist who teaches his mater series at McMow each year.
McMow also works to preserve historical glass works across the Country. The McMow artisans have restored and repaired several South Florida historical landmarks including Saint Anne's Catholic Church, Vizcaya, Flagler's personal railroad car, Seagull Cottage in Palm Beach and Holy Trinity Church.
McMow was awarded the Greater Lake Worth Chamber of Commerce's inaugural “Dream Big – Business of the Year Award” on Friday, November 12, 2011 and the Business of the Month award in October 1998.
